Free Open Source Software, commonly abbreviated as FOSS, is one of the cornerstones of today’s software development processes. Everything from Linux, Git, Mozilla, Android to Arduino and Raspberry Pi are the result of communities coming together and creating amazing products. A track record of contributing and creating good open source projects is always a good thing to have on a student resume.
